Vinnof invests in AdValvas Europe.
Vinnof has released following press-release:
Vinnof, het Vlaams Innovatiefonds – een 100% dochter van
ParticipatieMaatschappij Vlaanderen – investeert 400.000 euro in
de internationale expansie van AdValvas Europe NV.
De oprichters van het bedrijf uit Sint-Denijs-Westrem zijn
pioniers op het vlak van elektronische facturatie en lagen tien
jaar geleden al aan de basis van de eerste elektronische
facturatiesystemen voor de telecomsector. Hun product AdValvas
Invoice Manager automiseert de volledige facturatiecyclus bij de
verwerking van grote volumes facturen voor zowel aan- als
verkoop. Grote klanten als Banksys, Orange, Electrabel, DHL,
Mobistar, en andere maken er al volop gebruik van.
Sinds 2004 is elektronische facturatie wettelijk geregeld
doorheen heel Europa. Dit laat AdValvas Europe NV toe om de
Europese markt te veroveren. Onlangs, bijvoorbeeld, sloot de
internationale koerierdienst TNT Express al een akkoord met
AdValvas voor het behandelen van hun facturatiestromen. Volgens
Marc De Neve, Finance en Administration Manager voor TNT Express
Belgium, is “elektronische facturatie een groeiend fenomeen. Het
is als een steen in een vijver die onomkoombaar steeds grotere
kringen maakt. Voor onze complexe facturen is het een unieke
oplossing.”
Om die redenen gelooft Vinnof in het internationale
groeipotentieel van AdValvas en besliste het om erin mee te
stappen.
AdValvas Europe NV werd opgericht door Michel Gilis (CEO) en
Marco Beyers (CFO). Carlos Versteele, actief bestuurder, heeft
zich bij het team gevoegd en werkt samen aan de verdere
internationale oriëntering en alliantiestrategie van het nieuwe
bedrijf.

Isabel magazine on TNT: the story of successful e-Invoicing
implementations with AdValvas Invoice Manager.
A very interesting testimony published in the Isabel Magazine
issue of July 2006 presents one example of what modern
e-Invoicing is about. Marc De Neve, CFO with TNT at Brucargo in
Machelen is one of the early adopters of end-to-end e-Invoicing
in Belgium.
TNT Express has implemented electronic invoicing with
AdValvas Invoice Manager. Inbound invoices from multiple
suppliers are automatically processed and integrated with the
SAP back office. Recently, outbound invoicing has been implemented
using outsourced services from AdValvas, with delivery through
the Isabel value added network.

Seminar on e-Invoicing. Organized together with Dicom,
PricewaterhouseCoopers and Smart Solutions.
Three major players in the area of Invoicing are teaming up to
cover the ultimate scope in this area. Paper invoices are
scanned, OCR’ed and dematerialised, using Dicom’s Kofax suite.
E-Invoices are processed via AIM A/P (AdValvas Invoice Manager
for Accounts Payable). From this point, all these invoices are
processed through a single platform.
All
invoices are taken over by the Smart Cockpit of Smart Solutions.
Services Invoices are validated within AIM A/P and transported
to SAP FI via the Smart Cockpit. Product (PO) based invoices are
directly submitted to the SAP MM validation.
Attendees
of the seminary have the opportunity to follow live demo’s of
each module, while PriceWaterHouseCoopers provides all
relevant recommendations related to legal and tax issues.

New outsourcing service for e-Invoices offered by AdValvas
More customers are looking at outsourcing services for the
delivery of their e-Invoices. Most are keen to implement
end-to-end e-Invoicing, but are rather reluctant to dedicate new
hardware and human resources to keep this process operational.
AdValvas has set-up a wide range of outsourcing services,
covering the system management of incoming and outgoing e-Invoices.
Outbound:
A/R e-Invoices are delivered to AdValvas from the ERP A/R. AIM
A/R formats the outbound invoices according to the final
customer specifications and finally submitted through our Isabel
connector.
Inbound:
incoming e-Invoices are routed to AdValvas e-Invoicing server,
which prepares (enrichment) all line items for local validation
by the customer using a standard web interface. The final
Account Payable feed file is returned to the customer.

Smart Solutions is an important player in Document
Management Solutions for SAP installations. Their Invoice
Cockpit modules offer advanced workflow management from within
the SAP environment.

Beyond EDI and other bilateral communications between issuers
and recipients, e-Invoicing entered a new era, introducing a new
fundamental player: the e-Invoicing consolidator. In Belgium,
CertiPost and Isabel are the major players for transport and
certification of e-Invoices.
Since
January 2006, AdValvas undersigned a partnership with CertiPost.
CertiPost customers can now rely on AdValvas as an e-Invoicing
broker, especially for Accounts Payable.
